Disney Springs - 2. Photos & 8. 74 Reviews - Shopping Centers - 1. Buena Vista Dr, Disney World, Orlando, FL - Phone Number. Buena Vista Dr. Orlando, FL3. This is a very nice place to be for free!! Yes for free, while in Disney world, it's such a relief to find a place to be able to hang out, explore and enjoy beautiful Orlando Florida! Disney Springs is great for shopping, music entertainment, dining and overall relaxation. You can also get a great workout as well, cause this place is huge, much bigger than what we expected, it's like a city within itself, we definitely didn't get a chance to see all of what it had to offer. Some of the boutiques we checked out, were Starbucks, house of blues, Spiderman store ( perfect for my baby nephew lol) and candy shops. We also checked out the hot air balloon ride for a reasonable 2. They also have parking garages as well. We were also serenaded by a wonderful person who played jazz music on his saxophone. Overall if your looking for affordable things to do in Disney, check this out, if you want to get something to eat, check it out and if you want to go for a casual walk with your sweet heart, family or the girls, come check Disney Springs out! This place we deliver to anyone! Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels located in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.![]() Disney Springs is a classic "must visit" places in Orlando. It's main attractions are restaurants and shopping. Occasionally you'll get a character sighting there and it is also home to some great photography props. So make sure you bring a camera! And an empty stomach, because the restaurants are numerous and there's quite a variety. ![]() The Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South hotel in Kissimmee, FL is just 3 miles from Disney World, and offers cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception. Compare and book cheap Orlando car rentals with CarRentals.com. Rent a car in Orlando, Florida and find the best discounts and deals today. We visited planet Hollywood for lunch while there, however there is the House of Blues, Rain Forest Café, and several other city themed restaurants. Smaller cafés and restaurants are also available, there are numerous Starbucks there and a cool Irish themed Avenue with pubs. Dessert menus and carts are also available throughout Disney Springs. Lots of shopping, specifically Disney themed shopping. You also find your typical shops like Sunglass Hut, Under Armor, etc. You'll want to bring for wallet though if you plan to do shopping here, which is why I avoided it. I'm spending enough at Disney, however there might be something you'll find here that you might not find elsewhere. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't just quickly park and grab a quick lunch to go from Disney springs. You have to park in their parking lots or at a parking garage and walk to get anywhere. So it's definitely not a grab and go kind of place. Plan to do some walking because it is huge and walking will be required from parking lots and garages. The good news is that parking is free! A 3. 65 day Christmas store, a small but delish vegan bakery, an Irish pub, a spot for Star. Wars fanatics, surf shops, an emporium of all things Disney, a Lego playpen, and so much more. Disney Springs, formally Downtown Disney is a fun, sophisticated outdoor "mall" if I may say so, with free parking that is well supplied and organized. They not only added parking garages but upscale stores such as Pandora, Vera Bradley, and MAC cosmetics. The service of course always varies in each store. My visit yesterday I ventured into Levi's and not one single associate said a word to me but Alex and Ani the 3 girls I interacted with were sweet and eager to help. I think they need an upgrade on the dining options. Rainforest Café is a cheesy tourist roust w/less than mediocre food. Lava Lounge is new to the Rainforest fam but there is nothing really different or interesting to it. To add insult they also have T- Rex, good grief! The fact that they have 2 Starbucks is eye- roll worthy. Come on guys, get creative, curate ethical new stuff. I guess because I live in So. Flo the tourist stuff gets old. I like the occasional live music and a variety of music at that. They have really awesome lego "art" such as a dragon in the water and Buzzlight Year and Woody flying. There is train rides, a carousel, and face painting for the kids. In what was once dubbed Downtown Disney this new and improved version which was rebranded, remodeled, expanded and enhanced is now a new cool area for night lights, dinner, shopping and people watching all within the Disney grounds. This area however is not just for tourists and the parking doesn't cost 2. Accessible from either Buena Vista Drive or Hotel Plaza Blvd (basically the same street), this complex is close to the Saratoga Springs Disney resort and between some properties there are boats that cross the pond from properties across the water. Near the Starbucks there is a huge balloon that will take patrons up and down. The ride doesn't look like it lasts very long and I believe it's like 2. This area is huge and from a movie theater, bowling lanes, kids area in the east, a slew of restaurants and some hard to find stores, this place is really a bit of Disney and a bit of the regular everyday world in one place. Some of the rarer stores you won't see at every mall are stores like Anthropologie, Uni. QLO, Stance and Superdry just to name a few which happen to be all close together near the Lime parking structure. This outdoor "mall" is extremely spread out. Some of the Disney stores and such are more to the eastern side while most of the restaurants are along the waterfront. The Rainforest Café, TRex, Morimoto- Asia, STK, Planet Hollywood, Paradiso 3. Boathouse are some of the restaurants featured. Although this place is open during the day it seems to really liven up in the evening around dinner time. Disney Springs is amazing , easy in and out parking garages with plenty of spots, great retailers and fantastic dinning options with more being added, with all there is to do you can spend a full day and still not see everything . Excellent Job Disney !!!! Complete 1. 80 from Downtown Disney. I have an affinity for malls. I enjoy walking and checking out many different stores - it appeals to my need to move and squirrel brain. Disney Springs reminds me of an upscale outside mall. There are tons of name brand stores, like Zara and Anthropologie, with some Disney sprinkled in. When we first walked into Disney Springs, I remarked that I have no idea how they transformed Downtown Disney into what it is now. Even the layout seems completely different! There are some areas, like near the Rainforest Cafe or by the AMC that I recognized, but everything else is new. If you are planning to eat at a popular restaurant, don't forget to make reservations ahead of time on the Disney app. The day before there was a 1: 1. Chef Art Smith's Homecoming, but the day of that time slot disappeared. Since we have eaten at The Boathouse before and those are the two top- rated restaurants on Yelp, we decided not to eat here. There are a ton of options, both quick and sit down, if you do choose to feast while shopping. I love the free parking in the garages. Also, each lane displays how many spots are left! How insanely cool is that? If you're in the area, this is definitely a place to check out. Where else would you have this much fun for free?! After not coming here for 2 years downtown Disney has surely changed. Even the name changed to Disney springs.I must get used to Calling it disney springs instead of downtown Disney. Many places is no more at Disney springs and many places open up. . When I went back this time I had to look at a map to find where to go. Disney quest is no more and the cirque de sole is going away. Many of the restaurants around that area has closed down. The expansion was great. Disney springs turned into a wonderful outdoor mall with a touch of Disney magic. Uniquo is selling their usually merch, with some special Disney merch as well. World of Disney went through a make over as well, where check out and the store is divided by different things instead of themes. Great place to go for great food and shopping experience. You also get the touch of Disney magic without being at the parks. This place is legit AF. I loved it. The shops, the restaurants, the vibe. I would drive to Orlando weekly just to come here and shop, eat, drink, hang. How many places have chef Art Smith and Chef Morimoto restaurants right across from each other? I literally died. And when you're done shopping and stuffing your face, you can watch a cirque de sole show. Hoe amazing is that!? The kids loved the Lego store and the massive Disney store. We walked around a lot but didn't go into the official mall area until we were about to leave.
